Want & Tatters

For this week’s Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Challenge #41, the word prompts are ‘want’ and ‘tatters’. The words conjured up images of lost souls led astray, leading lives filled with mistakes and regrets. 😉

First, we set the tone and mood for the poem with a lonely, misty landscape…

Led him astray; in tatters
Lost, can he turn back?
